It's Fall 2023, and Destine and I are meeting for the very first time. Dinner turned into a 2 ½ hour meal, which turned into a mad dash for bubble tea, and Destine’s suggestion of checking out another restaurant before I left Biloxi turned into a lunch date the next day. By the time I left Biloxi on Sunday, we had spent the entire weekend touring Coastal Mississippi, eating at its best food spots, and I had unknowingly just met my future wife.

Needless to say, I was smitten!

While the excitement of a new relationship is always fun and exciting, our relationship was intentional from the very first weekend. She and I both knew we were looking for someone to spend the rest of our lives with, and between our common interests, viewpoints, and how much fun we had together, it wasn’t long before we both knew we were in love. Within the first year, we’d already traveled abroad together, supported each other through rough patches, and have deeply gotten to know each other’s families and friends.

This past September, after some planning and help from family and friends, I asked Destine the most important question I will ever ask her: if she would make me the happiest man in the world by marrying me. She said yes! So, here we are, preparing for our next stage of life together!

We are so excited to join hands in holy matrimony on April 6th. We are also just as excited to have you – our friends and family – supporting us as we move toward this next phase of our journey together.
